2009 Publication Procedures

As organizers we have tried to make this publication process as straightforward as possible. As you have questions, please ask them in our 2009 Presenters Ning Group so we can field them for everyone. We can certainly make changes to these steps if we can make this easier.

The following flow chart summarizes the steps you will need to take to publish your presentation. Note you will be uploading your final video TWICE: Once to our k12online account on blip.tv and once to dotsub. THE LOGIN CREDENTIALS HAVE BEEN EMAILED TO YOU. If you don't have these in your email, please contact your strand convener or contact Wesley Fryer to get them. Click the image to see a larger version.

When you reach STEP 6 on the flow chart, you will need to link to this page on our blog to submit all the information for your presentation. This will create a DRAFT blog post. If you get a message that says your submission has been categorized as "spam" do not worry, we will NOT delete your post! We are using the free Wordpress TDO Mini Forms plugin to create and moderate these blog post submissions, and are still working out some kinks.

The final order of presentations each week of the "regular" conference will be published by November 27, 2009. Good luck and please post questions and feedback in our 2009 Presenters Ning Group! Note that you will complete steps 7 and 8 AFTER your presentation officially "goes live" and is published on our K12online blog.
